Form Status

The Form Status screen shows, for the current and two previous award years, whether the student has submitted the electronic or paper financial assistance forms. It also shows the steps completed and those remaining before the amount of the financial assistance award can be determined.

How to Read the Tables

As a general rule:

  • Information on a form is displayed only if Section 1 of a form has been completed and submitted (by clicking on Next Page).

  • A green variable is a temporary notation that will be replaced by another as the status of the form changes.

  • A black variable is one that is final (i.e. it will not change).

  • A green question mark (?) indicates that the information in question may be submitted at a later date. For example, if the date a form is opened is displayed but no form has yet been submitted, a green (?) will appear in place of the date the document is submitted.

  • “N/A” means that, based on information on file, the type of information in question is not applicable to the form.

  • If the student has not started to fill out a given form for the current award year, the table on-screen will apply for the form that was completed the previous year.

Type of Form or Declaration

  • Paper Form
Where the variable “Paper Form” appears in the table, it indicates that the student has used a paper form. This variable is entered in the student’s file once Aide financière aux études has started processing the form.

  • E-Form
Where the variable “E-Form” appears in the table, it indicates that the student has used the e-form.

Date E-Form Is Opened

This is the date on which the student, his or her parents, sponsor or spouse started completing the form on-line. This is the date on which Section 1 of the form is submitted.

Deadline (in days) to Finish Completing the E-Form

You have 30 days to submit your e-form once it has been opened. Once the deadline expires, all the information entered in the e-form will be deleted from the database and all the fields in the form will become blank.

The variable “24 days,” for example, means that you still have 24 days to complete the e-form before the 30-day deadline expires.
