Notices from Aide financière aux études (AFE) are displayed in chronological order in the “List of Received Notices” and in the “List of Archived Notices.” All notices first appear under Received Notices. Once you have read a notice, you can transfer it to the list of archived notices under Archived Notices. Received notices or archived notices can be viewed at any time.
When you consult your file, you can see the list of notices. When your parents, sponsor or spouse consult the same file, they cannot see the list of notices addressed to you.
To read a notice, click on its title in the “Subject” column. Information in the “Date” and “Number” columns is taken from the notice. The “Recipient” column indicates if the notice is addressed to the student, father, mother, sponsor or spouse. The first time a recipient opens a notice, the consultation date appears in the “Date of First Consultation” column and replaces the “Not Consulted” message. However, if any other person consults the notice before the recipient does, the “Not Consulted” message is displayed.
As the recipient, you may archive notices after you consult them by checking the appropriate box in the column “To Be Archived” and clicking on the Archive button at the bottom of the screen. To archive all of the notices received, check the box “To Be Archived” below the column heading. Once archived, a notice cannot be returned to the list of received notices.
